It’s only one day from the Lunar New Year’s Eve in Vietnam. As the biggest holiday of the whole year, we Vietnamese people spend quite a lot of time and efforts in order to prepare the celebration of this occasion. Traditionally, bringing home some plants, which represent life and growth, is considered as hoping for more luck for the whole new year. Usually, we have peach blossom, kumquat or apricot blossom tree in our house for this holiday.
So yesterday I went to a peach blossom garden, looked for a nice tree to bring home. I was dazzled by the beauty of the pinkish garden and the vitality of the spring spreading on it. With me, it’s just not a Lunar New Year’s Eve without a peach blossom tree in my house. 🙂
